Who Can Join?

Everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in East Harris County, Texas is eligible to join Beacon FCU. This includes the following cities as well as others that share the same ZIP Code:

You can also join if you’re an immediate family member (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or grandchild) of a current Beacon FCU member and are living in your residence that you maintain as a single economic unit.

ID Requirements

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, Beacon FCU must be able to definitively identify you. Applicants for new accounts need to provide a current picture identification that includes your legal name. We also need your current street address, date of birth and Social Security number or Tax ID number.

This procedure is necessary to help in the fight against criminal activities such as money laundering and against funding of terrorism. Beacon FCU proudly supports all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our members and of our country.

Remember, once you become a Beacon FCU member, you're always a member. Even if you change jobs, retire or move out of the area, you retain your Beacon membership and all its benefits.
